Jerry,
I believe that the deeper dish(taller) caps where for 1960 only. I had heard that customers where complaining to GM that they would scrap on curbs,so GM made them shorter in 1961.Also on my 1961 lakewood the original wheels have the "nubs" also on the outer part of the rim,my dog caps where tight,but fit
