They set my backlight with Sikiflex black urethane in a caulk tube using a special tip that made a pyramidal shaped bead. This same (or similar) caulk is used to set planks on wood bottom boats. I've used the ribbon before setting windshields and it works great as long as there is no rust or loose paint. J. Bruce Weeks
