<VV> Exhaust gas into heater

Let's clear something up. He said this is a Coupe, which means there are long hoses running through the rocker panels. Only on the convertibles did they pressurize the rocker. The convertible rockers have an extra reinforcement panel running through them which precludes the use of the hose.

So, is there a rust problem where you are? The pic which showed the half shaft looked pretty rusty on the axle.

The reason that I ask that is because you want heat to the windshield.. The heat has to pass through the rocker panels on an EM. The rocker panels are pressurized to get heat forward and if they have any rust-through, much of that needed pressure will escape before it ever makes it to the front.

I found the shrouds in my stash but as long as I've owned Lisa 10 years, they've never been on because I haven't driven her every day like I am now. What is the bolt size and type? I can count the holes to know how many. -- IV
