Gorgeous work.  Interesting to see the build of the seat itself.

Still no mention of the seat mounting - it seems they're mounting to 
original Corvair mount points.
Those mount points are not intended to accept the loads from seat belts 
and shoulder harnesses through the seat.
In a crash, they'd likely fail, providing to safety to the occupant
