Correct ~

The seat belts in the Corvair hold the driver/passenger AND the seat to the
floor with separate, stronger attachments that augment the seat brackets,
effectively doubling the secure fit.

Gorgeous work.  Interesting to see the build of the seat itself.

Still no mention of the seat mounting - it seems they're mounting to
original Corvair mount points.
Those mount points are not intended to accept the loads from seat belts and
shoulder harnesses through the seat.
In a crash, they'd likely fail, providing to safety to the occupant
