Sure it is.
If you watch "Gas Monkey Garage" show on TV (Fast and loud?)
Richard Rollins often times "Loses his butt" on cars he's trying to make a
profit on.

When I restored my Monza, I built it like I was going to keep it forever, so
I could enjoy it just the way I wanted it. Made Sense.
Trying to "Flip" a full nut and bolt resto for PROFIT, as Matt said, sure
doesn't happen very often in the real world.
I have no plans to sell my Monza EVER. But, everything does have its price.

About 3 weeks ago a customer who comes into O'Reilly's often asked if my car
was for sale. My Reply? Everything has a price.
And he said he was serious. So I told him---Well, if you're serious, 35
thousand will put it in YOUR garage. That was MY price.
He wasn't serious. Didn't even counter. If he would have gone to 28, I
might have been tempted.

In the meantime, drive it, enjoy it, and consider it something your estate
can sell when you can no longer drive it.

Hank

How come I put over $7500 into a great running 63 2 Dr Monza and can't get
$4000 for it? I'm in PA
