Hello all
I'm working on my corvair wagon head liner and I'm in need of 4 clips that the head liner bows ride in. Two rusted beyond use and two broke in half, anyone have these in there stash of parts. If so email me so we can work something out.

I'm looking for the right and left inner fenders for a lm (65). When I got my Crown car the inner fenders were cut out like most of the early conversions for air to exhaust from the front mount radiator. I've changed the cooling set up on my car and need to return the inner fenders to a more stock appearance. I don't have any way I can form the compound curve required so am looking for some "good" inner fenders so I can trim the necessary piece out and weld it in place. I've attached 2 pictures of the pieces I need.?Thanks?

I have a unique problem.? I recently removed the drivetrain from a '64 ragtop with only 21,000 miles on it to do a complete reseal.? As far as the diff and tranny
(a 3 spd) go, I installed side seals and an input shaft seal and top cover gasket on the diff.? As for the 3 spd, I installed a shifter shaft seal and the top cover gasket and the round front cover gasket.? The only other thing I did to it was to flush it out with a couple gallons of kerosene to remove any contaminants.? Someone who painted the car sandblasted stuff because there was sand?stuck in the baked on grease all over everything on the drivetrain.? The car ran and drove fine before being brought to me.? NOW, the problem is this:? the 3 spd, after installation back in the car, WON'T shift into 1st or reverse.? It grinds like heck when one tries.? But it shifts into 2nd and 3rd just fine.? So, what happened and what do I do to fix it?? Opinions please.? Thanx.

The same '64 with the tranny trouble also has a weird electrical problem.? When I fired it up for the first time, it started right up and idled smooth as silk.? And this, no less, before I even had a chance to properly set the timing ,sync the carbs, or adjust the valves!? She purrs like a kitten.? As for the electrical problem, when I ducked into the passenger compartment to check the idiot lights I noticed something strange.? The gen idiot light was flickering ever so slightly.? Then I noticed that, along with the slight flicker of the idiot light, the courtesy lights also were flickering in unison.? It was a?flicker that sort of "pulsed".? Would this by chance be a bad voltage regulator?? Opinions please.? Thanx again.

Randy

The clutch is not releasing cleanly. It is dragging, so it is hard to
shift into the non-syncromesh gears. Another possibility is that the
clutch disc is reversed. I seem to recall that the hub of the disc is
longer on one side, and if the long side is against the flywheel it will
drag.

How about your grounds? Clean and tighten them all and also your positive connections. You did not sy if this car has the generator or if it has an alternator. Is this problem a new problem (since you had the engine out) or has it been an existing on going problem.

What Tim said...check your grounds. ?When I first got my Corsa it did the same thing. ?The engine wasn't grounded securely to the body. ?My battery negative cable was loose in the stripped hole in the head. ?Heli-coil solved the problem.
