Please anyone who knows Dick and Amy Mohr please pray for their speedy and safe recovery from this accident. I just received this info and do not know them but am sure someone out there does know them.

He and Amy are at UT Hospital, room 310 recovering from being hit by a car as they were walking across the highway to their motel room after the Valve Cover Races at Vairs in the Valley on Friday night.  After the accident they were rushed to the local medical center for treatment to be stabilized and then on Saturday they were transported to the University of Tennessee Hospital via ambulance.  Dick has a broken leg just above the ankle and some broken bones in his foot.  He also has some injury to his shoulder and back where the car mirror may have struck him.  Amy has a broken right leg with the break just below her knee.  She also has a broken shoulder and the shoulder was knocked out of the joint and there is some muscle damage.  She also suffered a skull fracture with some internal bleeding, the doctors are watching this injury but doesn't think there will be permanent damage.  Amy is going to have surgery today (Monday) to repair the leg and shoulder and I will check back with Dick later this afternoon to see how the surgery went.  Dick has a doctors appointment later this afternoon also to check about repair on his leg/ankle so he will be having surgery in the next few days.
