<VV> piston question

I
noticed 3 of the 6 had the number "10" stamped on the top of the piston.  What
does it mean  and why is it there?

Oversize piston!!  0.010"  larger........so much for the 21k miles!!   Unless the factory did that?  or it was a dealer repair?  With only 21k...sure there's receipts  with the car?
