Connect a coil and 12v.  Give it a spin and see if it sparks.
I know - not a lot more helpful than installing it but even if resistance specs are available they are often unreliable.

Other than putting it into a running car; is there any way to bench test a Pertronix?  Currently installed in a distributor which isn't in a car.  Thanks
