<VV> VDO Cylinder Head Temp Gauge

I need to replace this gauge but am having trouble finding one.  It's about 20 years old and the local hot rod shop says they can't find a current part number.Calls to VDO connected me with numb nuts who couldn't cross reference the old P?N 0511011245.  It has a zero to 600degree range.  Anybody have any idea where I can find one?
