<VV> HRPT vs HBRT

The red plastic junction connection on Late Model Corvairs has such a poor reputation it is often called the HRPT (Horrid Red Plastic Thingy).

Here in the Hampton Roads (Tidewater) area of Virginia, we have a traffic bottleneck with a similarly bad reputation - the HRBT (Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel).

I am in agreement with Joel. The hrpt was nothing more than a junction point. No need to install a fuse IMO. I would install a junction and leave the fuse out and then retry.
