Pretty normal for a stock distributor for a car that is used at high RPM. When the motor has crankcase pressure build-up, the pressure will often push oil up past a bronze bushing. We had to drill a hole in the bottom of Doug Hargrove's D/P road racer's dist to drain out the oil. Back in the 80's, Dale Engineering would install a sealed bearing in the distributor to solve this issue - among others. - Seth
