Subject: <VV> engine stalls 

140 4 speed. It was running fine, then after months of inactivity, it starts right up then slowly the RMP below 1500 quickly drops and it stalls. I'm suspecting a vacuum leak. The only work done was to replace the rear main seal and install an electrical oil pressure gauge. Timing is 18, Petronix ignition, balance tube is firmly connected. Vacuum chokes are connected, vacuum advance is connected, carbs are firmly bolted down, vacuum gauge to instrument panel is plugged. Secondary carbs butterflies are totally closed.
