Guys,

The rotation direction may not matter - but the fan direction does.  If swapping to an internally regulated alternator - make sure you use the Corvair fan.

No corvair alternator came from the factory with an internal regulator.

Rotation direction doesn't matter.

Was the Corvair ever originally equipped with an internally regulated alternator, or did they all have an external regulator?  If using a non-Corvair alternator, is rotation direction a factor?
