<VV> Unusual electrical problem

Several times through the years I've had wacky electrical problems and most of them turned out to be a broken or missing body ground cable.  I just bought a 63 chevy pickup and found that it didn't have a body ground cable and the starter would not engage or lights wouldn't work til I added a body cable. Now it works just fine.
