Carl,

Yours is not a turbo or Air Conditioned? Those have a different fresh air hose, oval where it attaches to the top shroud, and the attachment is to the left of center on the back (while viewing, actually the front of the top shroud) of the top shroud, towards the firewall. All the other late model engines have the "oval" hose become round and attach just behind (forward) of the #5 cylinder like Bryan says.


Harry is also correct, block the heater box where the oval hose would go also. I have seen air filters there, but a can works just fine to block it off.
