I have even seen the problem with NOS lamps. I put a small amount of oil at 
 the crimp and twist the socket in the housing with pliers just a slight 
amount.  So far it has fixed several , including the NOS 64's on my 62 
Lakewood Monza and  FC lights.. Looks better than cob job grounds . IF the socket 
is loose in the  housing , recrimp in a vise with a punch in a few spots. .
