I met with the president of Flaming River Industries at the SEMAshow in Las Vegas this past week. She confirmed what I had previously surmised.They will not be producing any more fast-ratio steering boxes for the Corvair.It was a complex explanation, but that was their conclusion. The several,specifically different, internal parts would be unique to this box and theydidn’t want to produce these parts in the smaller quantities.   I have not completely given up on thequick-ratio steering box. I am working with a US company with the possibilityof building a kit of those several unique parts needed to convert a standard ratiobox to a quick ratio. This is still a long shot, but I will keep you informedas I go.
