There is an easier way. Turbo Corvairs came equipped with a buzzer. My 140 Corsa did not come with the buzzer, but the wiring for it was in place. I added a seat belt warning buzzer that I removed from my company car and connected it to the connectors. It works as intended.
In non Corsas, You can use the diagram on page 12-19 of the 1965 Shop manual. You only need one diode a buzzer and wiring.
