<VV> gas heater install in a '63 ragtop

My first question is why do this at all? I installed one in my '64 Spyder
convert years ago (~1975), when I was driving it in the winter, and other
than the two holes in the trunk it's reversible easy enough I suppose, but I
would never do it now. I left the regular heater connected, except for the
defrosters, and could run both if needed to get it really toasty in there.
In practice, I used the gas heater for instant warm-up and defrost, ran the
hot air heater after things got up to temp.

You don't need much fuel pressure or volume, so assuming you have a stock
pump, just tap a fuel return line from the pump outlet back up to the
heater, and make SURE you put the original gas heater pressure regulator
in-line with a return line back to the tank.
