I put a 3/16" shim on the underside of the shift tube frame (under the
adapter) to "tilt" the lever a bit to the left, which rotated the shift tube
enough to find "reverse" - Whew!!!
I'll post pix on the forum when I clean up and test drive her!

Normal, just need to rotate the coupling with reference to the shift
tube. Still no? Rotate the other way.
