It's the throttle plates you need to adjust, not the idle mixture screws.

First of all, the linkage to each carb must be disconnected from the crosshaft.
With the engine running, and the fast idle cams off, place the Uni-syn on one carb. Dial the thumbwheel till the ball is in the center.
Move the Unisyn to the other carb and adjust the idle speed screw (not mixture) till the ball is in the center.
If the idle is too slow or fast adjust each idle speed screw an equal amount to get to the desired idle.
Fine tune it while diddling the idle speed screws and moving the uni-syn back and forth, keeping the ball in the middle.
Reconnect the throttle linkage

I'm trying to use a Uni-Syn Mod A. Passenger primary- the ball goes ALL the way to the top. and stays there. Any idle adjustment
On the driver's primary, the ball stays at the bottom Any idle adjustment.
Idle screws bottomed out then backed out 1 1/2 turns. Any comments?\, suggestions appreciated, ThanksRalph69 4sp 140
