I meant to state the OEM plug was an AC44FF (FF stands for fat fingers?) - Seth

Charles - The "46" heat range is fine for a 95 HP, or below, motor. You will need a 44 heat range plug.
The original plug for the 110 or 140 - or 180 was an AN44FF - Fully threaded plug. Long gone from the system, but some people still have them on their shelves.
The AC44F is similar, but not threaded all the way down to the tip.
The AC R44F plug is the same but has a resistance gap inside the plug - I think there was an AC R44FF plug used in the 1969 Corvair (110/140) as standard. Since it had such a small target market, it is also long gone.
Trade your 46F plugs for some 44F plugs, if you can. If you do hold out and get some AC44FF plugs, be sure to use a thread chaser in the heads before inserting a full thread plug. deposits may have built up at the bottom of the threads in the spark plug hole.

Is the AC Delco R44F usable in a 110 or 140?

the local NAPA store can get these but I was told I'd need 44FF plugs in a
110 or 140, and that 46F plugs are "too hot" for a 110 or a 140?

I have 12 new 46F plugs that came with my 110 PG coupe but have no 95 HP
cars. Should I sell them, or trade for 44FFs?

Thanks!!
