<VV> Need working 65-66 A/C blower speed switch

Many years ago I was installing factory air in my '66 Turbovert. As part of
that project I was able to locate a NOS switch from one of the vendors
selling restoration parts for Chevys. Needless to say, the details escape
me but going through the various vendors did produce a brand new switch. My
theory was that GM didn't have a unique switch for just Corvairs but drew
something from the vast GM parts Catalog. Maybe you can be lucky too.

Subject: <VV> Need working 65-66 A/C blower speed switch

The speed switch for the heater and A/C Blowers on the 65 cars are similar
but mount differently than the earlier cars with A/C. My switch has a loose
terminal staking on the feed to the fan selector switch, and due to its
design and the frame ass'y around it I am reluctant to remove the phenolic
back that the terminals are in to service (clean, lubricate, & restake)
until I have another switch that works. If anyone on VV has a working
switch they will part with, I would like to buy it. NOS would be great, but
a used one that actually works would be of interest of course. My email is
vairjer at cox.net, mailto:vairjer at cox.net, and I will entertain reasonable
offers....In Florida, A/C is almost vital to summer driving, so looking
forward to hearing from you....
