<VV> Installing a 66 4 speed transmission to a 65 Corvair

The input shaft is different, and the front bracket has an offset for the longer transmission.

Transmission or transaxle?
The '66 tranny mounts with six bolts; the '65, four bolts. 
Not sure of the shafts; been awhile.
