<VV> Bad flywheel

A long, long time ago I welded a noisy flywheel and used it for year. At the time I was in school at Arizona State and a guy by the name of Bob Benzinger was my advisor. I asked Bob they didn't weld them at factory. He explained why they used a three-piece assembly and that it was made of three dissimilar metals and hence very difficult to weld. He was very surprised that mine had broken apart yet.  Van P.

I’ve run many with and without the inertia plate removed…All Stick welded with Ni-rod on a fixture. Never heard of  Bolting until joined VV on ’99.
