I just came in from the shop modifying a set of 1960 reversed lamp housings to be tail lamp housings since they are no longer available. Or at least hard to fine.

There are two dimples in the backside of the metal socket that need to be drilled in order to release and pull the plastic piece out from the front, this would be the plastic piece with the two wires spring loaded inside of it. That’s how the car socket is, I presume the FC are similar.
