<VV> what is the group size for the Honda type battery that fits early cars

I've been using the 51s for decades.  They fit closer than most other 
me-too batteries and have better specs.  And if you get one made by 
Johnson Controls you can expect good life from it.


I have had type 53s made by Interstate and Exide (two by Interstate) and 
none of them lasted long enough to outlive their pro-rated warranty 
periods, which were hardly worth the time to consider unless the battery 
failed less than a year after purchase.


Get 'em at Walmart, never had one of theirs fail in warranty, usually 
last years longer.
