<VV> Smitty’s Memorial Service

I was so saddened to hear of Smitty's passing.  I'd begun to worry a bit after not hearing from him for several weeks.  Smitty was one of the good guys in our pastime and I'm going to miss him a lot.  I wish I'd had a chance to see him once more...  I'll applaud his life, and not lament his passing.  Smitty had what appears to be a good full life, doing his thing along the way.  We should all be so lucky.  I for one am better for having known him.

 Hubert “Smitty” Smith passed away on September 18, 2025.  Due to his wife, Helen, also being hospitalized at the time, his service was delayed until she was well enough to attend.  

Thankfully, Helen is now recovered, and the  funeral/celebration of life for Smitty is planned for Friday, November 14th, 1pm at Hollomon Brown - Lynnhaven Chapel

Virginia Beach, VA 23455

A reception will be held at the home of John and Barbara Gilliland afterwards.
