I spray heads with degreaser, pressure wash then dry & bead blast with bicarbonate. I've used fine sand to I do my own head rebuilding. I use ultrasonic for smaller stuff ie: carbs 2 at once....Again preclean carbs I wash in diesel fuel filled parts washer. I keep that outside under my deck that has a high ceiling.. then they go in 1 gal carb cleaner can to soak, then in ultrasonic bath again in carb cleaner bath but at high temp. Trust me you still have to wire probe passages ultrasonic does not get into small areas. I used to think so but was proven wrong with customer complaints. I see them using those high priced wash machines on TV for heads. My friends shop he works at puts transmissions etc in those too. BkingSent from my T-Mobile 5G Device

I'm trying to get the carbon off andwonder if the Amazon priced units work. The McMaster-Carr unit is out ofmy price range. What about cleaning solutions? I've seen a mixture of Simple Green andwater recommended.Thank you.Gary Szuch _______________________________________________This message was sent by the VirtualVairs mailing list, all copyrights are the propertyof the writer, please attribute properly.
