[1969] 69 Reunion Charlotte Show - Mark Ellis

I have a story to share.  I met with Mark at the Charlotte 69 Reunnion.  It was the first time he had seen #0133.  I tell you I was on such a high after he spent 10 mins going over the car with me.  I felt honored to have spent the time with him and him alone.  He asked me about a certain part that the 69's had on the clucth pedal.  He crawled in and looked and said no you don't have it.  I said well I guess I will get one then.  He turned and smiled and said Sarah, the part is very rare, it will be a hard find.  I said don't worry Mark the next time you see the car I will have it.  He was silent a moment and said okay, you're on, find the part.
Well, Mark must have been looking down from Heaven last night.  I mentioned my conversation to Bob Bentz last night when he called.  Bob has an NOS one, and I am the proud owner of it.
