<CORSA Chapters> Dues enforcement

Prairie Capital bylaws has the newsletter print the overdue/last newsletter
names in last newsletter that overdue members receive. If (big if) they
read the newsletter, they will see their name listed. I made a boo-boo and
listed the wrong year - which prompted one member to send another membership
dues to the club (we noted it for the next year)

PCCA is online with its newsletter -- both a boon and a bane. Yes, one
potential member is reading it for free (i've talked to him) at the same
time, he is keeping in touch -- knows whats happening, and will likely
rejoin (with dues) in the future -- he lives 70 plus miles from the meeting
place.

Listing the names in the newsletter seems to be the only means to get
members to pay. Most do regardless, promptly because they know it supports
the club and it is in-expensive.

Activities may be the other big enforcement -- having activities makes
people want to be members, and they don't mind paying when they get
something back - besides just the newsletter.
