Just a thought, you could send an "e-card" reminder.  I'd do it a few 
days before the actual meeting, since not everyone checks e-mail daily. 
  Our meetings usually are at member's homes, so typically someone posts 
about their upcoming project a few days before, which serves as a nice 
reminder.
