Hello Gary:  Good ideas for advertisers, I am not sure whether those
mentioned
have been contacted in the past or not.  Since I see that Harry is reading
these
posts I would pose the question to him about how the COMMUNIQUE
goes about trying to sell outside advertising.

Your ideas for help during car meets is good too, I know the Seattle club
did
that in 1975, Olympia Brewing sponsored the national convention that year.
I
seem to remember that we (RMC) tried to find someone for 1981 but had
no luck.  Possibly (or maybe probably) no one in the club had either sales
ability or just knew the right people to get into the door of some of the
local
money people.
