CORSA 2012: Economy Run and more

I was thinking along the same line as John, run the rally & econo run at the same time over the same route.

But even with this format, I can see some people not liking that for one reason or another.

I do applaud a shorter convention to save the members a nights stay in the hotel / motel, and I know whatever happens, you will never please all the people.

As far as change for change sake, unless you try something different, you will never know how it will work out.

I do like the concours on a Saturday and leave Sunday as a lay back, take it easy or leave early day.

I was not at the last meeting, so I don't know the dialogue that preceded
the decision to drop the econo-run. For a true test of actual fuel economy,
why not measure for fuel economy during the rally?  One course, one run, no
extra time used, real driving conditions!  John Egerton
