I do not know the status of "Trail Blazer" at this time. I am sure Dave
Newell, CPF Historian has this answer. He was a very close friend of Vic
Hickey.
At the asking price of Trail Blazer, there is not even the remotest
chance that it would end up in any public museum. But to fantasize, it would
be great to have it in the Corvair Museum, although, there are several other
cars that would have that right. The ideal spot for this vehicle would be
along side the prototype UltraVan, #101, that just recently sold to Lane
Motor Museum in Nashville, TN. They have over 100 cars, many 1-of-a-kind.
#101 has not been delivered yet, but will soon. A visit to this museum is
definitely on our agenda on our trip to Lexington next year.
