Thanks for all the suggestions. Here's what I found tonight. Ran the compression check, reading below:
  1 - 125
  3 - 120
  5 - 135
  2 - 125
  4 - 125
  6 - 125

So it would seem that my suspicion of #2 cylinder was out of line. Two things I did notice after putting the plugs back in and running it for a few minutes at idle and slightly above. One, there were a couple of small backfires from the right bank carb. Two, after shutting the engine off, the left back carb fogged quite a bit, with none from the right bank. Pulling each plug wire while running this time seemed to have about the same effect - but it still runs very rough. I believe my next moves will be to recheck the right bank valves and rebuild the carbs once again. Although I think I will swap them side-to-side first as suggested. By the way, there are no secondary carbs, the pads were cut off and welded up years ago by the PO.

Thanks again, I'll let you know how it progresses.
