[FC] Still stumped...Rampside still won't start

First, pull the #1 plug wire off the distributor, but leave the tip of the wire lieng close to the top of the plug. When you turn the motor over, if you see a spark jump across between the wire and the plug, the coil's probably ok. If the point gap is right, you can look at the wire position.
Since you replaced the spark wires, double check the position of the wires on distributor. It's more likely to get that wrong than timing, since there was no need to loosen the distributor clamp in the first place.  Here's a diagram to help:

If all that's correct, then check fuel delivery to the carbs.
