I guess this is what I get for mentioning a truck "for sale" in a thread about the misuse of the Corvanatics discussion for the use of buying and selling as opposed to just tech talk and bench racing.
 
Anyway, evidently my Van is a real, real, real early production 1965 model... So early it is in fact a 1964.  Sorry about that.  I had never checked the body tag before - I was just going by what the previous owner told me (I bought out a collection from an aging Corvair fanatic who was getting out of the hobby due to his old age).  
 
So anyway, I know that is a deal breaker for some that are chasing that 1-of-1528 Vans built in 1965.  For the rest, that want a nice solid body to build from and are not concerned about the 1965 exclusivity, then everything else I said about it still stands.
 
Hopefully tomorrow I will get some pictures and figure out a way to post them online without having to send 15 different emails with attachments and what not.
 
I apologize that some people will get this basic email twice.  Since N2ZV (?) was kind enough to forward this to other Corvair lists (thank you - I was hoping you would) I don't know who is on Corvanatics and who isn't - so I will send this to the list and a copy to every email I have received.
