Front Strut Rod, got it. That's what I need. Thank you, Curtis.
Actually, I think I determined why the wheel was splayed out so much: one of the lug nuts was missing, and the corresponding stud was at six o'clock when I parked the car.
Incidentally, after asking for a carb j-bolt, I found two!
