You guys did cover a lot of ground yesterday. I'm sorry I missed it.

I'll be happy to cover the model car competition responsibilities. I
was just on the CORSA website and found the rules and judging sheets. It
looks like that will be a pretty fun job.

Mike

Thanks to Ron for hosting our meeting today. We got quite a lot
covered, I typed up my notes, they are below. There are a few of our
members we need thought might be interested in certain activities, I
have them noted as Ask. Please write back with anything I missed, and
if you're interested in working on something.

Meeting notes 7/9/2006

Hotel. Ron. General guidelines - $89 or less for room rate, prefer
$79. Manassas ok, but if Leesburg costs can be kept down that's a good
spot. Need the following at the hotel:
	Indoor vendor
Hospitality where we can supply snacks, big enough for videos,
etc.
Hotel catered banquet ok, but is a negotiation point
	RV parking a plus
	Tech session room
	Place for valve cover races

Hospitality room
	Dominion Brewery beer
	Hourly raffles
		Car cover
		50/50
Separate raffles for car stuff and home stuff (baskets,
etc.)
	Games/puzzles/videos (car movies)

Vendors. Need both inside and outside space. Greg.
Awards (trophies, that is).
Dash Plaques. Get magnetic ones.

	Check in / registration. Darrin.

Model car competition. Set up in morning. Find CORSA rules.

Racing video game competition. Practice in morning, race early
afternoon.
Tours, all self guided, but with times and itineraries.
		Shopping - possibly Leesburg?
		Udvar-Hazy
		DC - set up a Tourbus connection/schedule
	Tech Sessions - Ask Curt
