Leave the point ignition alone, it is problem free except for the normal wear.   Plus if something does show some wear it can easily be fixed and at least get to the nearest town.  When the aftermarket parts fail usually a cell phone is the only answer.

  Question. I have two Corvairs (both 65's), (actually have 3 but one is a parts car). On my red Corsa 65 turbo I have an electronic MSG ignition (which came that way) and the 65 140 4xcarb has just standard points. Do both the turbo and 140 take the same MSG ignition system? Is there anything I need to be aware of when installing a MSG system on my 140?
