Hi, guys,

We really enjoyed the meet in Alamosa, which was very well organized and expertly run.  Despite the weather, everyone had a great time, and the “arrest” of Lube was a hoot.  That was my first Tri-State, and I learned a lot that will help with organizing next year’s.
We are already working on next year’s, and it’s going to be well worth the trip.  We have found a great hotel at a great price, located where it’s easy to find, and with a large tree-shaded parking lot.  I am working on arranging for our car show on Saturday to be at the International Balloon Museum, and will include actual hot air balloons to give tether rides (weather permitting.)  We are arranging tours to some of the many attractions here in Albuquerque, and our banquet will probably be at the world famous El Pinto restaurant.   On Sunday will be the big Albuquerque Art Museum car show, which draws up to 400 of the most interesting collector cars in the area, and your folks are welcome to enter the show, or just visit it, before heading home.  I’ve attached a flyer I prepared but didn’t have a chance to pass out at Alamosa, and it shows just some of the many places to visit here.  We have big plans for the event next year, so let your members know.
