Charles,
This all sounds wonderful. I don't know what next year will bring and it's a long haul from Florida. This year I've accomplished all I set out to do with my Canadian '60, I had it certified by VCCA and looked at by SCG in Knoxville. I have really been thinking of moving on to another Corvair (GB) so my '60 may be on the market soon. I cannot keep it and another Vair (no room). I don't drive it as much as I should and really miss driving one. I realize it will be a tough sell but it would have to be sold to buy another.
It has loads of documentation, was 1991 Cole award winner and is the oldest Canadian built Corvair known body #236. I don't have a clue as to it's value but I'm not giving it away nor do I want to see it hacked up. I do not want to go the Ebay route, would much rather sell it to a SCG member. I personally think it's worth $5000.00. Needs nothing, recent brakes, tune-up, etc etc. Your thoughts? Ed Dade City,Fl
