Nice car!

Craig is right about the plugs leaking.  Happens to all of the old ones 
eventually.  Many rebuilders use some sort of an epoxy now.

The quick and easy (although more expensive) answer is to go to your local 
speed shop and by a rebuilt one.  Edelbrock now "remanufactures" the Q-jets. 
I ran one on my Chevelle for awhile and it worked great right out of the 
box.  Seems to me it was priced cheaper than the new Holley.
