[V8Vairs] Heater options?

Interesting thought Seth. One thing that might swing opinion the other way
is that the Corvair's air duct temperature is regulated to 195 - at least
that's where the ducts open. I imagine a heater core at the existing
location would be in the same ballpark, assuming one could source its intake
air from the cabin.

Craig - I pitched the same Idea for my V6 install out to VV and Fastvairs a

couple of years - Okay 7or 8 years ago. The experienced folks said the heat

that is fed into the Corvair heater by the stock Corvair heads is really hot
-  
as we know. The 220 temp (max, you hope) through the heater core of the V8  
(or my V6) would be pretty cool by the time it reached your feet or
windshield. 
 You might want to look for a heater core that would fit under the dash. 
Someone  suggested an early Mustang core.  Also check with the hotrod
builders.  
Maybe you could put some type of long, skinny core into the stock long
heater  
duct from the rear to the front, in the tunnel. Now that would be trick. It

should work with the stock controls, except, maybe the rear seat foot
outlet.  
Not too sure how that would work.
