Does anyone out there have the original crown corvair transmission to V8,  output shafts for Saginaw, or the Powerglide conversion setup??  I am starting a Corv8 conversion, and am curious if any of this 'hardware' exists..  Presently am just gathering as much info. As possible.  Any suggestions???                                                                                                                    Thanx -  Tom Uppstad, Albany Oregon  (new member)
..the Crown uses the 66-69 Corvair 4-sp trans case and most of the internals..if you can buy a big-car '2-groove' input Saginaw, you could send the ( solid) mainshaft to Moser to be 're-splined',and use the mating input 'clutch' gear w/ bigger, better rollers and release bearing 'snout'..the rear bearing is 'thicker' than the Corvair, tho,so you'd need to compensate for that..
