For many of us....to teardown a Vair engine is too easy...even beside the 
road / in parking lots at conventions! 

I carry a spare head in my 69 that is always 400 miles from home....but not a 
comp. tester [ I have 8 fingers for that job! ].

It's not a matter of "better"...just convienience!
