<VV> Strange economy run happening

That is kind of the problem I have with econo runs...not that I doubt that
the gas mileages are actually and honestly achieved and "fairly" at that at
least within the confines of the "rules" but that they don't reflect normal
driving styles!! I drive to and from work as fast as is legal...I get about
18-21 MPG in my 140 66 coupe. On a trip last summer I think I got about 26
MPG over the whole 2600 miles, much of it highway. A Prius could easily
beat my mileage but I bet I had a lot more fun especially when the Harley
rider came back to the gas station to tell me it was a cool car!! Made the
whole trip! So I don't do econo runs unless it is a fun thing here with our
local club. But I sure appreciate the tricks they can dream up to maximize
the mileage necessary to win a trophy...not fiction exactly but not real
practical on a daily basis! I think the best trophy is the one I sit in (my
purple seats) every day driving around town!!

You got 49+ mpg and you have a straight face? That's the same as a Toyota
Prius! It's just as fictional as the 228.
